Catalyst Development Group was founded by Chris Applequist, a seasoned developer with deep expertise in the design, financing, and management of high-quality multifamily communities throughout the Southwest United States. With over two decades of experience and a portfolio of over 2,000 units, Chris has built a team that blends financial acumen with genuine compassion for the people they serve. Prior to forming Catalyst Development Group, Chris was a founder of Generation Housing Partners, a Texas-based multifamily development company with assets located throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. Chris holds a holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of North Texas and a Master’s Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Development from the University of Texas in Arlington.
